Purpose & Explanation

This Norfolk Southern Railway Company, Preliminary Engineering Agreement is between the City of Hudson and ODOT for Preliminary Engineering (PE) services related to removal of the existing, at-grade, Hinse Hill Road/Norfolk Southern Railway Company crossing and the construction of a new grade separation bridge over Norfolk Southern’s tracks. This Preliminary Engineering includes Norfolk Southern’s staff and consultant costs for review of project plans, preparation of cost estimates, review of cost estimates, site surveys, assessments, studies, and administrative costs. The estimated cost for the Preliminary Engineering review is $50,000.
