Title

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF STOW FOR COOPERATION AND COST SHARING FOR THE RESURFACING OF SEASONS ROAD.

Body

Legislative History

None.

Purpose & Explanation

The City’s Annual Resurfacing Program identifies priority roads for improvement using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI). Streets with the lowest PCI scores-representing those in the poorest condition-are prioritized for resurfacing within the program's annual budget.

Seasons Road, which serves as the border between the City of Hudson (north) and the City of Stow (south), has been identified by both municipalities as requiring resurfacing between Hudson Drive and the west corporation line. Because the road is shared equally by both jurisdictions, project costs will be split 50/50. The total project cost is estimated at $500,000, with Hudson’s share not to exceed $250,000.

The City of Stow will manage this project, and Hudson will reimburse the City of Stow for 50% of the project costs, up to a maximum of $250,000.
