Purpose & Explanation

This project will include the installation of audio-visual and broadcast systems, along with all associated hardware and wiring for the new City Hall building located at 1140 Terex Road.  The proposed equipment will include broadcast cameras, microphones & audio amplification, televisions & the AV control room, public comment timing, and associated control room equipment.

 

The estimated budget for this project is $170,000.  The City staff will return to City Council if the bids are more than 10% above this estimate amount, which the cost includes the contingency.

The City Staff recommends that City Council approve this authorization for the City Manager to advertise, receive bids, and enter into a contract for the proposed Board Room AV Project at City Hall.
