Resolution No. 20-75 affirming receipt of COVID-19 funding from the State (through Summit County) in accordance with State HB 481.

Purpose & Explanation

This Resolution is required to receive payroll support CARES Act funding from Summit County.  The Resolution acknowledges the City will spend the funding in accordance with basic CARES Act guidelines, and those expenses:

(1)                     Are necessary expenditures incurred due to the public health emergency with respect to the Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19);

(2)                     Were not accounted for in the (political subdivision name) most recently approved budget as of March 27, 2020; and

(3)                     Were incurred during the period that begins on March 1, 2020, and ending on December 30, 2020.
