Brief Description: Charter Communications is requesting a 50% income tax credit for 10 years. The company will relocate regional operations to the existing facility at 280 Executive Parkway West. The company is a provider of telecommunications and broadband services. Charter Communications anticipates investing $6.3 million and will maintain an anticipated minimum payroll of $14 million at the facility within three years.

Resolution No. 23-157, passed December 19, 2023, Council amended the Job Creation Grant Program pursuant to Article XVIII, Section 3 and Article VIII, Section 13 of the Ohio Constitution.
Purpose & Explanation
The applicant has submitted a requested to the City for a 50% Job Creation Grant (reimbursement of payroll taxes collected) for a period of Ten (10) years for Charter Communications to locate at Executive Parkway West. The request is aligned with the criteria established within the Council adopted Job Creation Grant Program.
