Purpose & Explanation

Staff is seeking funding for the purchase of either a 3 robotic camera package or a single robotic camera.  Three cameras are necessary to create a fully remote-controlled camera system.  The cost of the three-camera package is estimated at $8,000.  However, one camera, estimated at $2,700, would be a significant first step in accomplishing the goal of full remote-control capability while Hudson Community Television explores additional funding options. Having robotic cameras would allow the staff members to remain socially distanced in the control room while still having the ability to assist the community member with cameras to frame shots.  No match is required.
