Purpose & Explanation

This project consists of new curb ramps and sidewalk along S. Main Street between Bard Drive and Stoney Hill Drive.

Due to the sidewalk installation temporary right-of-way acquisitions are required.

Since this project is being partially funded with federal funds the right of way acquisition must follow the federal/ODOT requirements for appraisals and acquisitions.  The process includes a title search, and property appraisal.  All negotiations follow the federal/ODOT guidelines.

See attached table for each temporary take and individual amount.  The City will initially over the full acquisition cost of $1,850.00, of which 90% will be reimbursed by ODOT.  The total cost to the City after reimbursement is $185.00.
