Body

Legislative History

Resolution 24-102 authorized a professional services contract with K2M to complete a fire and EMS staffing and facility needs study

Resolution 25-109 authorized a professional services contract with K2M to design the fire and EMS facility renovations

Ordinance 25-135 authorized issuance of $5,000,000 in notes for the construction cost of the fire and EMS facility renovations and new detached garage

Purpose & Explanation

The purpose of this ordinance is to allow for the re-issuance of notes to finance the remodeling and renovation of the existing building and the cost of new garage for Fire and EMS.  The cost of construction of the new garage and related storm water management is not known at this time so we will roll the notes for one year with the expectation of making them part of a larger bond next year.
