Brief Description:  A discussion to create an annual Senior Gutter Cleaning Program for individual single family residential homes within Hudson for providing a one-time only cleaning,  for the 2025 Fall season.

Purpose & Explanation

The City of Hudson program would provide a one-time only cleaning for the 2025 Fall season to the following residents of Hudson: DRAFT Policy                                          

1. All applicants shall be residents of the City of Hudson, Summit County, Ohio;

2. Shall be Hudson residents, owner of the property, 65+ (by December 31) and/or adults with disabilities without an able-bodied individual living in the household meeting the Homestead Exemption criteria through the Summit County Fiscal Office will qualify for this service. Participant information submitted in the application process will be verified with the County Tax Records to ensure the criteria is met. All applicants must provide proof of income.

3. Proofs of age and disability with a current physician’s statement detailing the disability are required upon application;

4. The Program will provide one (1) time visit for a single-family residential gutter cleaning for the 2025 Fall season.

5. The City has the right to change or cancel this program at anytime.
