Purpose & Explanation
In accordance with Code Section 220.031(a), Workshop Meetings are informal meetings held for the following purposes: (1) to permit Council to discuss matters to be considered by Council at Regular Meetings; and (2) to permit Council to discuss any other matters concerning the City of Hudson. Pursuant to Section 220.031(b), “Agenda,” the written agenda for Workshop Meetings shall be administratively coordinated by the City Manager with the assistance of the Council President. Any member of Council, the Mayor, or the City Manager may place an item on a Workshop Meeting agenda. Council members will consider the need for amendments to the current Rules of Council relating to the agenda review process.

Section 220.031(b) Agenda. The written agenda for workshop meetings of Council shall be administratively coordinated by the City Manager with the assistance of the Council President. Any member of Council, the Mayor or the City Manager may place an item on the workshop meeting agenda. All workshop meeting agenda items shall be due to the Clerk of Council by 5:00 p.m. two Fridays prior to the meeting.
