Purpose & Explanation

The purpose of the Term Sheet for the Fiber to the Residents Project is to define basic terms, conditions and responsibilities of the City of Hudson and Lit Fiber Hudson, LLC for this project. This is a non-binding agreement that allows both parties to state their position and define the key points of the subsequent agreement.

The main goals of this project are:

                     -  Every residence within the City of Hudson will have access to fiber.
                     -  Partner with the City of Hudson to expand off the existing fiber network
                     -  Complete the project within a three (3) year timeframe.
                     -  $5 Monthly Fee.
                     -  Surety Bond.

Staff and the Council Ad-Hoc Subcommittee recommend City Council approve the Term Sheet and transition to the agreement/contract phase of this project.
