Brief Description: This contract provides for spring sweeping service of all curbed streets in City, regular weekly sweeping throughout the season and emergency sweeping when required. Reilly Sweeping’s current contract expired on 12-31-18 and the service was put out to competitive bid in early 2019.

Purpose & Explanation
This service contract was publicly bid per City charter. One (1) bid was received on February 5, 2019 from Reilly Sweeping Inc. This contract will be for a two-year term with a two-year renewal option should services be acceptable, and pricing remain reasonable. Below is Reilly Sweeping Inc. 2018 Contract Price and the new 2019-2020 contract bid amount.

The new pricing results in an annual service cost savings of $7,921.00
The City Administration is requesting City Council approval to authorize the City Manager to award and enter into a contract with Reilly Sweeping, Inc. for Street Sweeping Services at the not to exceed contract amount of $34,379.00.
