Body
Legislative History
Three cruisers were approved in the 2014 City budget under "Equipment Replacement."
Purpose & Explanation
Hudson Police currently have ten (10) marked police vehicles in use as regular patrol vehicles.  These vehicles include  three (3) Ford NGPI-U (Explorers); one (1) four-wheel drive capable Chevrolet Tahoe (supervisor's vehicle); two (2) Dodge Chargers; and four (4) Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors (CVPI's).
We would like to purchase three (23) of the all-wheel drive Ford NGPI-U's, at a total cost of $75,513.00 ($25,171.00 each) from Lebanon Ford which is State Bid pricing. Two other quotes were received, from Statewide Ford ($26,027), and GSA AutoChoice ($27,341.71). The three new police vehicles will replace V5, V9 and V10 (all 2011 Ford CVPI's), presently at 120,000, 100,000 and 99,000 miles respectively.
