Purpose & Explanation

The installation of an ADA accessible boat/kayak launch dock at Hudson Springs Park, a popular destination within the Hudson Park System, will allow paddling activities to be enjoyed by individuals with disabilities, beginners, children, and seniors. The project aligns to the current Park Master Plan and the Hudson Park Board's desire to focus on increased accessibility throughout the park system. State funding would be allocated for the purchase and installation of the ADA boat/kayak dock, asphalt paving for trail access and one off-loading parking spot.
