Purpose & Explanation
Proposals were received, for the design and professional services request for qualifications (RFQ) and the request for proposals (RFP) from consultants for the new Public Works & Hudson Public Power Facility Design.
The City Administration assembled a review team for all RFQ/RFP's submitted, and BCI was unanimously chosen following their qualification statement, interviews, and their proposal. BCI has had considerable experience in the design of a number of public facilities located in Ohio including but not limited to: The Public Works Facility (Fairborn, Ohio), Wyandot County Engineer's Facility (Wyandot Co.), City of Kent City Hall (Kent, Ohio), and the design of Hudson City Hall. The team BCI has assembled for this project are experienced professionals, with a number of them working for the City of Hudson in the past on the City Hall building. The team understands what is expected of them on this project, including the public meetings, boards and commissions reviews, project costs and keeping within budgets, and we are confident they will deliver a complete design package for our new facility.
