Purpose & Explanation
As per the 2014 approved fleet replacement budget, Public Works has solicited pricing for two (2) fleet vehicles (see attached table).    The vehicles will be purchased through Montrose Auto Group on the CUE contract program. Vehicle equipment and/or attachments will be purchased through competitive quotes at time of installation.
Timing Considerations
Staff would request emergency legislation to expedite the ordering of the trucks and associated equipment.

Suggested Action
Staff recommends City Council authorize the City Manager to enter into a purchase agreement with the Montrose Auto Group 3960 Medina Rd Akron, Ohio 44333 for the purchase of one (1) 2014 Ford Explorer and one(1) 2014 Chevy 1500 Pickup truck at a total purchase price not to exceed $59,838.
