Purpose & Explanation
In response to inquiries from Hudson Public Power customers along with changes in technology, Hudson Public Power staff has been working in cooperation with the GPD Group to revise the City’s Interconnection Policy. The current policy was developed in 2014 and allows residential and/or commercial customers the ability to install photovoltaic generation systems and receive credit for power returned to the City’s electrical distribution system. The policy provides guidelines for installation, types of systems, and sizing limits.
