Brief Description: Staff would like to update Section 1 and add to new Section 11 which relates to new standards and regulations for Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) method of construction.

Purpose & Explanation
Staff are proposing updates to Section 1 of the City of Hudson Engineering Standards for Infrastructure Construction to incorporate a key definition item.
In addition, staff are introducing a new Section 11 that outlines updated standards and regulations related to Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations and measures to protect existing utilities. A fully edited version of the recommended changes to each section is attached.
