A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE ACCEPTANCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE NORTHEAST OHIO FOUR COUNTY REGIONAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION (“NEFCO”) THROUGH THE SUMMIT COUNTY BROWNFIELDS PROGRAM GRANT.
Executive Summary: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency provides funding for surveys and assessments of potential Brownfields through the Summit County Brownfield Program managed by The Northeast Ohio Four County Regional Planning and Development Organization (NEFCO) in partnership with the Development Finance Authority of Summit County and the Summit County Health Department. Staff sought funding for Phase II environmental work on the Windstream properties within the Phase II Downtown Development Project.
