Purpose & Explanation
Considering the cancelation of the annual Memorial Day Parade, City Council and City staff had discussed a proposed Founders Day Parade to be scheduled later in the summer. Staff and Council discussed available resources and limitations with the City sponsoring and managing the parade and felt that perhaps looking for resources among other community groups might be a potential resource.
This evening will be a continuation of this discussion.
