Brief Description: This Resolution, as amended, adopts the proposed Parks Master Plan in concept with the condition that the final version of the Plan will be revised and amended to be consistent with the revisions outlined in the recitals of the Resolution.

Purpose & Explanation
At the January 26, 2021, City Council Workshop, City Council and the Park Board met jointly to discuss priority parks projects and for the presentation of the Parks Master Plan dated December 2020. In a letter to City Council (attached) on behalf of the Park Board Members, Board Chairman, Mr. Tom King requested that City Council adopt the Parks Master Plan as a guide for the Park Board moving forward. A copy of the Master Plan (December 2020) has been attached for reference.
This Resolution, as amended, adopts the proposed Parks Master Plan in concept with the condition that the final version of the Plan will be revised and amended to be consistent with the revisions outlined in the recitals of the Resolution.
