Purpose & Explanation

Staff sought $1,800.00 in funding from the Division of State Fire Marshal for the reimbursement of training costs to train four new firefighters to the level of Volunteer Firefighter through a 2019 Fire Department Training Grant.  The cost of educational materials and certification was $738.00 per firefighter.  Reimbursement was limited to $450.00 per firefighter
