Body
Legislative History
Ordinance No. 12-32, the Fire Prevention Code was last updated in February of 2012, passed February 15, 2012.
Purpose & Explanation
The Codified Ordinances of the City of Hudson adopt and incorporate various codes and standards issued by other agencies. These codes and standards are revised and replaced by those agencies at irregular/inconsistent timeframes. This is "housekeeping" legislation to both update certain references in those codes and standards as well as eliminating the need for repeated updates in the future by replacing specific Ohio Fire Code and International Fire Code edition dates with the term "Current Edition."
Timing Considerations
Staff requests that the changes be adopted at the earliest time possible.
Fiscal Impact
None.
Recommended Action
