Purpose & Explanation

In 2023, the Birdsong project, a unique public art installation, throughout the Gazebo, Clocktower, and Park Lane Greens received a one-year approval from Council to display 150 bird sculptures hand-painted by local artists. As a part of this project, Melody, a larger bird exhibit compiled of small tiles and housed on the Park Lane Green was installed. Both components of the project were scheduled to be removed in April 2024. An extension for Melody, in addition to a 365-Kindness Garden, was approved until April 2025.

The extension expires in April 2025.
