Res: A Resolution authorizing the City Manager, during the year 2025 to advertise for bids or to utilize the various charter authorized governmental competitive purchasing programs.

Purpose & Explanation

The Public Works Department is seeking permission to purchase one Service fleet vehicle. The vehicle being replaced is a 2012 F-550 with a dump bed and was budgeted in the 2025 fleet replacement budget using cooperative purchasing pricing. Due to cost increases and product availability the estimated cost to purchase and upfit the chassis is estimated to cost $115,000

Staff recommends that City Council approve this Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award and enter into a contract for the purchase of a Public Works replacement vehicle for the Service operations in the amount of $115,000.
