Purpose & Explanation
In 2026, the United States marks a historic milestone, the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding. This semiquincentennial commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and invites Americans to reflect on the country’s history, ideals, challenges, and progress. America250 is both a celebration and a moment of civic reflection, honoring the past while inspiring dialogue and action toward a more inclusive and resilient future.
The City of Hudson desires to host and participate in the “America250” celebration.
