Brief Description:  Consideration of the appeal submitted by the appellant regarding the Planning Commission action to deny the preliminary subdivision plan for Canterbury Crossing, a proposed open space conservation subdivision located along Ravenna Street.  At the conclusion of the public hearing, final action will be taken by Council by means of a motion.

Purpose & Explanation

Consideration of the appeal submitted by the appellant regarding the Planning Commission action to deny the preliminary subdivision plan for Canterbury Crossing, a proposed open space conservation subdivision located along Ravenna Street. The application concerns Parcel Nos. 3010370, 3003108, 3006324, 3002169, 3002375, 3001397, 3004552, 3004555, and 3006323.

The Planning Commission reviewed and acted on the request at the meeting of July 8, 2024.  Attached is a copy of the appellant request, The Planning Commission decision, and the Planning Commission agenda from July 15, 2024.     

The appellant is Prestige Builder Group, Kuchar Limited Liability Company, and George Vizmeg, represented by John Slagter, Attorney at Law, Tucker Ellis, 950 Main Ave, Suite 1100, Cleveland, Ohio 44113

Staff recommends City Council review the above staff report, conduct a public hearing on August 20, 2024 and take action on the submitted appeal request.
