Purpose & Explanation

This sidewalk project is being designed by GAI Consultants, Inc. and will include the installation of a 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalk along the west side of Stow Road between SR 303 and Ravenna Street. The sidewalk construction will include storm drainage improvements, grading, crosswalks, driveway replacements, and minor clearing and restoration.

 

The estimated total cost of construction is $1,600,000, which includes a 10% contingency. The City will return to City Council if the cost exceeds the above total cost of the project.

 

This project's bid is scheduled to be bid in early 2026.

Staff recommends that City Council approve this authorization for the City Manager to advertise, receive bids, and enter into a contract for the Stow Road Sidewalk Installation Project.
