Purpose & Explanation
Staff recommends that City Council pass the attached legislation to authorize the City Manager to enter into the bargaining agreement between the City of Hudson and the Ohio Patrolman's Benevolent Association bargaining unit members (sergeants), to be in full force and effect from and after the earliest period allowed by law.  The proposed contract period shall be effective for the period of October 3, 2013 thru December 31, 2014.  
The bargaining agreement was ratified by Union membership vote on September 27, 2013.
Timing Considerations
The Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
