Executive Summary: The proposed legislation seeks approval of the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement that was negotiated between the City Manager's office and representatives of the Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association on behalf of those bargaining unit members (sergeants) in the City's Police Department, for the period of October 3, 2013 through December 31, 2014. The collective bargaining agreement is on file with the Clerk of Council.

Purpose & Explanation
Staff recommends that City Council pass the attached legislation to authorize the City Manager to enter into the bargaining agreement between the City of Hudson and the Ohio Patrolman's Benevolent Association bargaining unit members (sergeants), to be in full force and effect from and after the earliest period allowed by law. The proposed contract period shall be effective for the period of October 3, 2013 thru December 31, 2014.
The bargaining agreement was ratified by Union membership vote on September 27, 2013.
