Purpose & Explanation
The City staff has prepared easements between the Clayton Court HOA and the City of Hudson for Utility and Emergency Access Easement for our Emergency Services.
In addition to the City easements noted above, Summit County and the Clayton Court HOA will execute easements to accommodate the future sanitary force main within this area. The Summit County Department of Sanitary Sewer Services is completing the design work related to sanitary improvements within the downtown-Historic District area. The County provided a presentation to Council in July 2020 regarding the ongoing design work of these improvements which includes a sanitary sewer pump station and force main. This regional improvement project will address stormwater inflow and infiltration that is currently entering the existing sanitary sewer system from existing homes and businesses in this area, as well as reduce sanitary sewer backups and provide sanitary sewer service for the future Downtown Development.
