Purpose & Explanation
The City of Hudson will be resurfacing Middleton Road from SR 91 to Stow Road, after the City of Akron completes the water main rehabilitation project. The total estimated project cost is $353,185.00. The total resurfacing cost will be shared 50/50 between the two communities. The total estimated cost that the City of Akron would be responsible for is a total cost not to exceed $176,592.50.
Timing Considerations
Once this Resolution is approved, City staff will have the Cooperation and Cost Sharing Agreement executed by the appropriate parties. This project will be managed by the City of Hudson, and the City of Akron will reimburse the City of Hudson within 30 days of receipt of an invoice.
Fiscal Impact
X Currently Budgeted (430 fund) This roadway funding is available within our 2019 Asphalt Road budget. No appropriation necessary.

Staff recommends that City Council approve the Cooperation and Cost Sharing Agreement between the City of Akron and the City of Hudson for the resurfacing of Middleton Road.
