Purpose & Explanation
The Public Works Department contracts for animal roadside collection and disposal services.  Greg Miller Animal Control of Oakwood Village is the city's current contractor and has performed the contract work successfully from 2010 to 2014.  This contract was publicly bid recently, and only one bid was received.  Greg Miller Animal Control submitted prices for the 2014 to 2016 contract at the same prices as the current contract.  This is a two year contract, with an option to renew for an additional two years.  The annual budget for this service is $25,000.

Suggested Action
Staff recommends that City Council direct the City Manager to enter into a contract with Greg Miller Animal Control Service, 7368 Oakhill Road, Oakwood Village, Ohio 44146 at the submitted unit pricing not to exceed the annual budget amount of $25,000.
