Purpose & Explanation

Staff is seeking funding from ReWorks through a Community Recycling Assistance Grant to help offset the cost of the City’s leaf collection program.  $22,133.00 in grant funding will be used for City of Hudson personnel costs associated with leaf collection.  The City has received this funding annually.  No match is required. The application opened February 1, 2023.

Suggested Action

Staff recommends passage of this Resolution to authorize the City Manager’s designee to submit an application to Summit County ReWorks for a Community Recycling Assistance Grant on behalf of the Public Works Department, acceptance of funding and declaring an emergency.
