The Council seeks to prevent any conflicts of interest, whether they be potential, perceived, or actual, in the appointment and service of members of the City’s various boards, commissions and committees.


The City Council seeks to
foster integrity in public service and promote the public's trust and confidence in that service by placing restrictions on what municipal employees may do on the job, after hours, and after leaving public service.

Whereas, clarity for the eligibility of City employees and members of the community for appointment and service on City boards, commissions and/or committees is in the best interests of the City of Hudson and its residents
