Purpose & Explanation
Staff is seeking grant funding for the purchase of a magnetic manhole cover lift system for use by Hudson Public Power and the City’s Service Department. The magnetic manhole cover lift system will reduce the potential for injuries to backs, fingers and toes. The grant will fund up to 75% ($1,971.75) of the cost of the manhole cover lift system. The City’s 25% match will be approximately $657.25.

The grant is available until funding for the year runs out.
