The City Administration is requesting City Council approval to authorize the City Manager to award and enter into a contract with Ronyak Paving Company for the Hudson Drive Resurfacing Project. This work will involve asphalt planning, full depth repairs, intermediate asphalt course, surface course, loop detectors, handicap ramps and pavement striping along Hudson Drive from Terex Road to Seasons/Norton Road. The Engineering Staff is requesting a 10% contingency on the City's portion (ODOT does not allow for contingency on their portion) for any unforeseen issues that may arise during construction. The contingency amount would be $7,172.91 for a total cost of $365,818.56. ODOT will be invoiced directly for their portion.
Total Project cost = $365,818.56 ($286,916.52 Split 80% ODOT/ $78,902.04 20% Local City Share)
