Brief Description: This contract provides general landscaping goods and services throughout the city on city owned property and within the City right of way. This is a time and materials contract which covers items including but limited to mulching, bed maintenance, bush trimming, grass restoration and other associated landscaping work. Staff seeks to award the contract for the 2019-2020 seasons.

Purpose & Explanation
This contract service contract was publicly bid per City charter. Three (3) Bids were received on January 29, 2019. Below is the 2019 Contract Price and the newly submitted bids.
2019 Contract Price: $ 167,161.50 (contract expiration 12-31-18)

H&M Landscaping.........$351,431.00
The City Administration is requesting City Council approval to authorize the City Manager to award and enter into a contract with Zscape LLC. for General Landscaping Services at the not to exceed amount of $185,310.00. This is a two year contract with an optional two year renewal. The contract will begin on March 15, 2019 and end on December 31, 2020.
