Purpose & Explanation
The City Council requested that City staff review the installation of No Turn on Red Signs at the intersection of Library St. and SR 303.
The following sections of the Hudson Codified Ordinances apply to this request including: Section 406 and 414.
For a permanent sign to be installed per Codified Ordinance Section 414.03(c)(4), an ordinance would be required to be passed by City Council for this permanent installation. The installation of temporary signs, until a formal safety study is completed by the Ohio Department of Transportation in the Fall 2021, would not require an ordinance pursuant to Sections 406.03(i) and (r) of the Codified Ordinances.
