Purpose & Explanation
The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation awarded the City of Hudson's Emergency Medical Service a Safety Intervention Grant of $37,217.36 (75% of the base cost) for a power ambulance cot and power load system. The City of Hudson's match is $12,405.78 (25% of the base cost). This matching grant does not include warranties. The City has received a quote from Stryker, provider for the cot and from the local installation contractor Excellence Inc. in an amount of $49,289.14 including warranties and installation parts and labor.
Timing Considerations
Grant funding was awarded, and funds were received on 9/18/2020. Equipment must be purchased and implemented by 12/18/2020. Receipts must be submitted by 01/18/2021.
