Purpose & Explanation
The City Administration is requesting City Council approval to advertise for the five annual capital maintenance road programs which include the Line Striping, Crack Sealing, Concrete Replacement and Asphalt Resurfacing and Asphalt Road Reconstruction Programs.  Each of these will be bid out separately with the exclusion of the Asphalt Resurfacing and Reconstruction Programs, these two programs will be bid out as one project.
2014 Budgeted Amounts:
Annual Resurfacing Program      $600,000
(including State Highway and Permissive Auto Tax)
Road Reconstruction Program      $2,000,000
Annual Concrete Replacement Program      $350,000
Annual Line Striping and Painting Program      $160,000
Annual Crack Sealing Program      $40,000
 
Timing Considerations
Upon authorization to proceed by the City Council, the administration intends to advertise these five Programs during the fiscal year of 2014.
