Purpose & Explanation
Small businesses are a vital part of the local economy, and the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce and COSE provide services that empower and strengthen commerce through a variety of programs and initiatives, including programs to assist small businesses. To promote awareness of these services and programs, this Proclamation recognizes and supports these important efforts.
Timing Considerations
October has been designated as "Small Business Month" by the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce and the Council of Smaller Enterprises.
