Brief Description: To recognize Mr. Clark Rumiser, a long-standing crossing guard in the City of Hudson, with an honorary street name sign at the intersection of North Hayden Parkway and Victoria Parkway.

A similar honor was bestowed on Ada Cooper Miller in 2013 and in 2016 to Richard “Rich” Merino by previous City Councils.

Purpose & Explanation

Mr. Rumiser was a crossing guard at North Hayden Parkway and Victoria Parkway for 26 years and served as a crossing guard for 53 years. 

He passed away on August 4, 2026.

The honorary street name sign for Clark Rumiser would be placed below the intersection signs for Victoria Pkwy and N. Hayden Pkwy. at the intersection he provided his last years of service as a school crossing guard.
