Resolution 13-39, approved at the March 20, 2013 City Council Meeting granted approval for mowing within the I-480 right-of-way.
Purpose & Explanation
As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation I-480 highway maintenance the State requires City of Hudson consent legislation to allow highway maintenance and repairs on the portion of I-480 that is within the City of Hudson corporate limits.  The state shall assume and bear 100% of the costs for such maintenance activities.  Attached is a map indicating the extent of the proposed highway maintenance and repair activities within the City of Hudson's corporate limits.  
Timing Considerations
Emergency legislation is requested to expedite approval.

Suggested Action
Staff recommends City Council grant formal approval to the Ohio Department of Transportation for the ROW highway maintenance and repair within the portions of I-480 within the City's corporate limits.
