Purpose & Explanation
This is a request to apply to AMATS as a joint applicant with the City of Stow for the following projects:
1.) Norton Road Reconstruction Project (Hudson Drive to Metro Bike Trail crossing). The project includes intersection improvements at Hudson Drive, complete roadway reconstruction, new sidewalks and drainage improvements and tunnel at the Hike & Bike Trail Crossing.

The funding source is STBG funds and the project, if selected, project costs would be split 80/20 with the state paying for 80% of project costs up to the funding maximum and the Cities splitting the 20% matching funds.

2.) Veterans Trail Rails to Trails project from Springdale Road in Stow to Barlow Road in Hudson. The project includes removal of the existing railroad tracks and construction of a new 10' wide multi-purpose trail.

The funding source is TASA funds and the City is requesting additional funding as permitted by AMATS funding policy. The funding is split 80/20 with the state paying for 80% of the construction costs up to the funding maximum and the Cities splitting the matching funds.
