Purpose & Explanation
As a result of the 2020 parks citizen survey/Parks Master Plan, tennis/pickleball was highly requested as a need for racquet sports as a part of park facilities. The Park Board has ranked this project as a high priority based on the survey and resident feedback. This legislation permits the City Manager to solicit requests for proposals for the design of a tennis and pickle ball complex at Barlow Farm Park. Staff will return to City Council with a design contract recommendation.
