Purpose & Explanation

Staff seeks authorization to apply for a Clean Ohio Conservation Fund grant for enhancement of the portion of the Brandywine Creek tributary between Owen Brown Street and S.R. 303.  The program provides up to 75% of the estimated costs of the proposed project.

Timing Considerations

The grant application is due January 29, 2016.

Staff recommends that City Council authorize the City Manager to submit an application to the District 8 Natural Resources Assistance Council for grant funding through the Clean Ohio Conservation Fund for enhancement of the portion of the Brandywine Creek tributary between Owen Brown Street and S.R. 303.
