Executive Summary: The Land and Water Conservation Fund provides up to 50 percent of project costs for acquisition and development of public outdoor recreation areas. The fund is administered by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

Purpose & Explanation
Staff seeks approval to apply for 50 percent of the cost of the installation of cart paths at Ellsworth Meadows. The cost of the cart paths is $290,310.00. Grant funding of $145,155.00 is to be requested.
Timing Considerations
The application is due November 15, 2016. Grants are expected to be awarded in early spring 2017.
