Brief Description: This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to enter into a Sanitary Sewer Easement Agreement with Summit County Department of Sanitary Sewer Services to allow for a new sanitary sewer installation and future maintenance through the City's parking lot adjacent to Heinen's grocery store located at 19 Clinton Street.

Purpose & Explanation
The Summit County Department of Sanitary Sewer Services (DSSS) is proposing to install a new sanitary sewer that would help to alleviate sewer overflows at Brandywine Creek along Owen Brown Street. The project includes running a new sanitary sewer from Owen Brown Street, south along First Street, though the City owned parking lot at Heinen's grocery store to Clinton Street. The sanitary sewer project is scheduled to start construction this fall 2024, ahead of the City's proposed parking lot improvements in 2025.
The easement will be used for the installation and future maintenance of the sanitary sewer by the Summit County Department of Sanitary Sewer Services upon completion of the project.
Copies of the easement agreements and descriptions are included for further reference.
