Purpose & Explanation
Lemonade Day is a national initiative to educate youth on how to start, own and operate their own business, using a lemonade stand to teach fundamental lessons about life, success, and giving back to community.  
Community involvement is encouraged to support this program in Hudson, including youths of all ages who want to become entrepreneurs, adults interested in supervising, businesses and investors who wish to partner with participants, and customers who wish to enjoy the fruits of these efforts.
The City of Hudson, Hudson City Schools, Hudson Montessori School, Seton Catholic School, The Burton D. Morgan Foundation, and Hudson Economic Development Corporation are actively supporting student participation in Lemonade Day during the month of May, 2013.
Timing Considerations
4/17/13 City Council Meeting: Proclamation approval and presentation.  A member from the Hudson Economic Development Corporation will accept the Proclamation.
