Resolution No. 99-36, authorizing the City Manager to enter into a Water Tower Lease Agreement with New Par, DBA Airtouch Cellular, passed March 17, 1999.
Purpose & Explanation
The City of Hudson currently maintains an agreement with Verizon Wireless (formerly Airtouch Cellular) for the attachment of cellular communications equipment on the exterior Milford water tower tank located at 85 Milford Road, Hudson.
The current lease agreement was due for amendments and renewal in November of 2019. The amended lease has been agreed upon by both parties. The amended annual lease amount will be $28,000.00 (Former agreement - $21,900.60 annually). The lease agreement will be for a five (5) year term. At the end of each year the lease amount will increase by 2% over the amount of the preceding year.
